Day 09

New York City

Big screen departure

Kate meets a dear friend, sees her name in lights and spots a mystery man, also with Heathrow suitcases, at JFK airport.

Times Square NY

Imagine you're visiting Times Square and suddenly see yourself on one of the largest billboards - some nine stories high!

Versions of these enormous illuminated signs have been around for over a hundred years.

Times Square emerged in the early 1900s as New York City's theater district. It was originally named Longacre Square after Long Acre Farm that previously occupied the area.

The New York Times and the first illuminated sign both arrived in 1904 and by the 1920s, now named Times Square, the area was the vibrant heart of Broadway with massive advertising signs and neon billboards lighting up the night skies.

Decades of decline saw the square descend into the renowned seediness of the 1960s, 70s & 80s, before mayors Giuliani, Koch and Dinkins oversaw the urban renewal that lead to it's rebirth as a major tourism and entertainment hub.

Today Times Square hosts glitzy Broadway shows, media headquarters, vibrant nightlife, and of course the iconic annual New Year's Eve ball drop.

Today it also hosts one Ms. Katherine Eleanor Kinard, putting Heathrow eCarry-On through its paces and seeing herself illuminated on one of those 90ft billboards!

TWA delivery

Later, in the lobby of the TWA hotel at JFK airport, Kate spots a mystery man with three Heathrow suitcases!

Founder's Daily Briefing

eCarry-On. A world first.

I'm so proud of the word we've done creating MAGFAST Heathrow eCarry-On.

The world's first suitcase integrating a high-powered charger onboard like this, Heathrow is encased in durable, lightweight magnesium-aluminum alloy, has a truly iconic silhouette and features smooth spinner wheels and an ergonomic telescoping handle for effortless mobility.

The secret is the Safe Enclave which provides instant access to the built-in MAGFAST Extreme charger.

Just pop it out to reveal wireless and wired charging options capable of powering all your devices.

The Safe Enclave's patented magnetic storage locking system makes stowing and retrieving your charger secure but instantaneous.

Heathrow's superior interior compartments keep your belongings organized with custom-designed liners, dual-chamber packing, and coordinated laundry and shoe bags.

Plus we have MAGFAST's unique Fingerprint technology. Just tap or scan with your smartphone for authentication, security and direct customer care access.

Style and substance for the connected traveler!

I personally took Heathrow on a series of short and long-haul flights just a few weeks ago and was delighted. It takes the pain out of airports and unfamiliar power outlets.

What would an AI think?

I'm experimenting with an AI called 'Claude' at the moment, from a company called 'Anthropic' and I asked it to learn about Heathrow and summarize it in a few words. It said:

Heathrow eCarry-On thinks of everything, so you only have to remember to bring yourself.

So true!

Kate talks to Veterinarians International

Kate interviews former MAGFAST family member, now CEO of Veterinarians International Lauren Steinberg. Veterinarians International builds sustainable solutions, driven by the One Health Approach—a belief that optimal health outcomes are only possible when we recognize the interconnection between people, animals and our environment.

"We train, grow and empower an international community of veterinarians to combat diseases today and build resilience for tomorrow. Healthy Animals=Healthy People."

Kate's Conundrum #7

"Charles the second's project boasts handsome herds of deer

And acres more of birds galore and cattle far and near

And crowns atop two lampposts near the end of three miles' march

Part way from copper sovereign to George's grandest arch."
