Welcome Kate as she lands in San Antonio
Check her out (along with this amazing Lux Pro offer 🥳 )
So with just a few days' notice, Kate Kinard, my co-host (and frankly cornerstone of our small team), has packed for a 30-day, multi-city trip.
Wherever she is, Kate will receive envelopes from Britani - our one-woman production 'team' - with various challenges and surprises. Oh – and then an envelope revealing where she's off to next, because...
All Kate's upcoming destinations are a closely held secret.
She has no idea where she's going.
It's all on a strict need-to-know basis. Just three core MAGFASTers know and only if they're booking tickets or co-ordinating the itinerary.
Kate's Conundrum #2
Here comes the second conundrum, even harder than the first.
"What's the name of a special dish
Not quite as famed as chips and fish
That first was called a kind of pie?
And now you'll find a dog - no lie!"
Join Kate in the Tex-Mex Capital
Yesterday during the Power Trip event I read out the first of these puzzles - we call them Kate's Conundrums.
Did you hear it? All very odd. Something to do with 'Selina', 'Rio' and (PG-13) seduction under a bridge!
Personally I'd never been to San Antonio until a few years ago when two of my cousins landed there. It's a great place and they've created great lives for themselves and their families.
From the famous, legendary Alamo (remember?) to the lively River Walk, San Antonio hooks you in with its charming blend of history, cuisine, and culture.
See the luminous lights strung across bustling shops and restaurants along the snaking San Antonio River. Saunter through the expansive grounds of the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park to marvel at ancient Spanish colonial architecture.
And the food. OMG the food! Savory sizzling fajitas and all kinds of other Tex-Mex specialties have earned San Antonio the title of a top culinary city.
Plus interactive exhibits at the San Antonio Museum of Art and the DoSeum (not a typo!) children's museum, the awesome observation post at the Tower of the Americas with amazing views of the city skyline, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, festival Fiesta San Antonio, the phenomenal San Antonio Zoo... it goes on and on.
